AGT International Establishes Key Partnerships with Chinese Agencies to Improve Nation’s Urban Management Systems

AGT’s groundbreaking technology to facilitate the integration and management of the nation’s key, complex systems

Zürich, Switzerland – January 10, 2011 – AGT International, one of the fastest growing global public safety and security solutions organizations, today announced that it has signed a number of partnership agreements with Chinese government agencies designed to improve the nation's urban management systems. The four partnerships include:

1. Ministry of Water Resources

The development of advanced flood management solutions using AGT International's Smart Dike technology to protect China's river embankments and reservoirs, and offer unique emergency response applications that support communities before and during flood disaster activities.

2. International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission (ICCNDRC) The establishment of a joint working group between AGT International and the ICCNDRC to manage the delivery of emergency response systems and solutions for urban public safety monitoring and prediction, and research & development focused on management and environmental protection, and water monitoring. The working group will collaborate with environmental protection, water resource, and other government departments.

3. ICCNDRC & Shijiazhuang Municipal People’s Government The completion of research & development and a pilot project to upgrade public safety, environmental monitoring, forecasting and emergency response services in the Shijiazhuang municipality. The agreement will involve the establishment of a joint working group comprising of AGT International, the ICCNDRC, and the Government of the Shijiazhuang Municipality.

4. National Academy for Mayors of China Training of city leaders of major Chinese cities in urban management, public safety, emergency response systems, and flood and environment control. The training will further the mayors' understanding of complex urban management issues, and the available public safety and emergency response systems

Commenting on the agreement between AGT, the ICCNDRC and the Government of the Shijiazhuang Municipality, Mr. Li Jinlu, the First Deputy Mayor of Shijiazhuang Municipality said, "AGT International has the world's leading intelligent city management system and solutions which will make great contributions to Shijiazhuang's public safety as well as environmental monitoring and forecast. In addition, Mr. Kochavi has been visiting various municipalities in China to brief officials about AGT international's technology. In a recent visit to Chongqing, a city of 32 million people located in the Western part of China, Mr. Kochavi explained how AGT's technology can integrate the world's largest municipality's transportation, communications and other systems for basic services to manage the diverse needs of its residents.
