This was AGT International’s second year attending and presenting at the European Police Congress in Berlin. This year AGT presented its Safe City solution for the effective management and protection of cities. The Safe City solution is an integral part of AGT International’s comprehensive Urban Management solution. It utilizes data from mobile and stationary sensors and existing urban databases to generate a Unified Situation Awareness Picture, providing real-time actionable intelligence, triggering alerts, recommending actions, and delivering predictive and forecasting capabilities. This provides municipalities with the necessary information to effectively manage complex city environments and cope with issues such as rising crime and terrorism, an aging and diversifying population, and the growing strain on urban resources.

At the event, AGT International also presented a Safe City project undertaken by its strategic partner, 4D Security Solutions of New Jersey, in collaboration with Microsoft. This project produced a unique and effective solution to the complex safety requirements of a global city, involving the integration of complex systems - including a Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) and a platform to protect critical infrastructure - into the overall solution.

Visitors to the AGT International Booth included leaders from state and city police organizations, as well as members of transport and emergency management organizations.

Participating from AGT International in Germany, Chief Technology Officer Dr. Lutz Heuser gave a keynote speech on the Safe City concept, and Matthais Nitschke from business development spoke on a panel discussing cyber-crime and cyber terror.
